In the most recent Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online weekly update, a brand-new Adversary Mode dubbed Assault on Cayo Perico was added to the game. Between four and thirty players can participate in the Cayo Perico island-based Adversary Mode. The participants are divided into two teams, the Attackers and Defenders, and each team makes an effort to raid the island while the Defenders try to stop them until the timer goes off.

Rockstar Games announced the Assault on Cayo Perico Adversary Mode not long after the San Andreas Mercenaries update went live. But it wasn’t until the most recent GTA Online weekly update that it was added to the game.
As previously noted, this Adversary Mode supports a maximum of 30 players and requires a minimum of four players. They are evenly split into the two teams, Attackers and Defenders, each of which has a different goal in mind.
To attempt to hack the radars labeled A and B on the map, the Attackers must sneak into the island of Cayo Perico. The Defenders will attempt to obstruct their activities at the same time and hold their enemies at bay until the period expires.
A player will respawn after a brief period of time after being neutralized each time. Any vehicle that is present inside the mission zone can be utilized by them.
Given the quantity of players on either side, the assault on Cayo Perico can get rather severe. So before starting the game, it is advisable that players stock up on snacks to refuel their bodies. Anyone who wants to play this game mode can do so by heading to the Pause Menu in GTA Online, selecting Online, then choosing Jobs, Play Job, Rockstar Created, and finally Adversary Mode.
