A new free-to-play 3D role-playing video game called Honkai: Star Rail, the fourth in the Honkai series, is in the works. It was created and distributed by HoYoverse. In this sequel to Honkai Impact 3rd, there are both new characters and other iterations of existing characters from the first game, as well as returning characters from past HoYoVerse titles. Players can also see this pattern in Genshin Impact, where characters like Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun (Ei) effectively have counterparts in Honkai Impact 3rd, such as Yae Sakura and Raiden Mei, among many more.

Genshin Impact and other HoYoVerse games share features like the gacha system and character growth, which will be noticeable by fans of the series. In Honkai: Star Rail, players can already see uncanny similarities to Genshin Impact characters, such as Clara’s likeness to Klee. In fact, even with the game’s initially published cast of characters. Honkai: Star Rail is expected to be a thrilling addition to the HoYoVerse franchise with its distinct universe and varied cast of characters.
Honkai: Star Rail frequently adds new playable characters to the game, whether they are wholly original or different iterations of already existing characters from the HoYoVerse. Players are looking forward to seeing more characters from the HoYoVerse’s numerous series as well as those that are exclusive to Honkai: Star Rail now that Kafka is playable. There are great hopes for the addition of well-known characters like Fu Hua, Yae Sakura, and Raiden Mei as the game develops and new worlds are introduced for the Trailblazers to explore, even if recent announcements have not made any mention of the return of prior characters.
Carole Pepper and Carole
Even though Carole isn’t a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail at launch, a promotional film depicts her conversing with Welt and suggests that she might be in the future. Although her personality is still unknown, if it is like how she was previously portrayed, gamers can anticipate that she will be upbeat, vivacious, and straightforward.

Apocalypse by Luocha and Otto or Void Archive
Even though Luocha, Otto Apocalypse, and Void Archive from Honkai Impact 3rd do not have the same name, there is a striking visual similarity between them. The voice actor for these characters is also the same. Additionally, Sushang addresses Otto as “Raksha” in Honkai Impact 3rd, which sounds similar to how “Luocha” is pronounced. The makers of Honkai: Star Rail have also included a minor easter egg in Luocha’s companion objective, when Welt recalls some recollections of his encounter with Otto and considers Luocha suspicious, for players who could still believe that this is just a great coincidence.

It is unclear whether Luocha is Otto from Honkai Impact 3rd or merely a different version of him, similar to characters like Kafka, Natasha, or Seele. However, one thing is certain: the developers wanted to make Star Rail, one of the game’s main antagonists, a playable character in Honkai. It is safe to conclude that Luocha is much more than meets the eye, despite the fact that he continues to be a very enigmatic character and that gamers often speculate about who or what may be in the casket.
Kafka and Kafka Stigmata
The change of Kafka from a Stigmata in Honkai Impact 3rd to a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail has attracted the interest of fans. Furthermore, she holds a pivotal role in the narrative as one of the Stelleron Hunters who has a connection to the Trailblazer’s adventure. Despite this, there are clear variances in her character design, such as alterations to her hair color, style, and attire. Before, players could only use her character as an equippable object, but now they can interact with her character more actively.

In Honkai: Star Rail, they depict Kafka as possessing a calm, composed, and delightful demeanor. It will be intriguing to observe how her character attributes affect both her gameplay and interactions with other characters. There may be fresh opportunities for other Stigmatas to eventually become playable characters as a result of Kafka’s change in position.
Welt and Welt Yang
Like Kafka, Welt is another character who in Honkai: Star Rail went from being a Stigmata to being a playable character. Welt, in contrast to Kafka, has played a crucial part in the Honkai Impact 3rd plot. As the head of Anti-Entropy, Welt has been a crucial player in the battle against the Honkai and has dealt with a number of significant figures, including Bronya. He has also appeared in the manga, to add to it.

It’s likely that other Stigmata characters from the Honkai universe will one day become playable after Welt’s transformation into a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail. Honkai: Star Rail players might anticipate seeing how Welt’s tale develops and whether additional Stigmata individuals would follow in his footsteps.
Sushang and Li Sushang
Although she is a playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd, Li Sushang is not an important character in the main plot despite being a more prominent character in the 7 Swords Visual Novel. Due to this, we know little about her except that she wields great Valkyrie power and is the progeny of one of Fu Hua’s disciples. That she will also be a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail is a welcome development.

In Honkai: Star Rail, she eagerly and naively enters the Cloud Knights as a newcomer, wielding a Greatsword and aspiring to attain renown within the club. Players who are familiar with her past appearances will find this change in characterization fascinating because it offers a new and interesting perspective on the character.
Himeko and Murata Himeko
Honkai: Star Rail’s Himeko is definitely the updated version of Murata Himeko, yet there are some apparent early variations in her character and job. However, if players explore more into Honkai: Star Rail’s narrative, they can find more parallels than they initially realized.

Himeko’s confirmation for an appearance in Genshin Impact is intriguing. Genshin Impact describes Murata, the Pyro Archon of Natlan, as possessing bright red hair. They claim that Vanessa and Diluc, among others, inherit this trait as descendants. Although Genshin Impact reveals limited information about Murata, players can anticipate a resemblance to both her contemporaries from the Honkai series.
