The playtest video for the upcoming Harry Potter sports game Quidditch Champions appears to have been leaked. Warner Bros. only recently announced the sports game, with no release window or date stated. At the moment, Unbroken Studios is working on the game. The game’s playtest just got underway today, May 20, and it appears that after a few hours, a live stream revealed the gameplay. Although the streamer has so far deleted all of the content that has been broadcast, websites like Reddit have already indexed it.
Quidditch Champions Leaked Gameplay
The streamer demonstrated both the character customization options and the flight gameplay. Players may select individuals like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Draco Malfoy, it appears. They might also develop their own distinctive character. They can also alter their brooms, broom trails, and celebrations for goals and victories. The visual style of the game is cartoonish, as opposed to Hogwarts Legacy’s more realistic appearance. The game’s flying certainly appears to be fun, and we assume the controls are likewise well-tuned for accurate manoeuvring. A multiplayer element will also be included in the game, however it wasn’t demonstrated in one of the streams.
Quidditch Champions does not yet have a release date, but it will be available on PC and certain platforms, though not all of them. Despite the fact that Hogwarts Legacy offered a tonne of activities, many gamers desired to play Quidditch and anticipated that it will be included in a subsequent DLC. However, Avalanche Software has stated that a DLC is not currently in their plans. But with Quidditch Champions, Unbroken Studios may have finally satisfied many Harry Potter fans’ Quidditch itch.
Given that the leaked information only amounts to a minute or two, it’s difficult to pass too harsh of a verdict, but it appears to be good! It appears simple, but good.
All traces of the clip have been deleted from the streamer’s channel after they ceased sharing the gameplay, but that hasn’t stopped other sites from picking up the shared vids, of course.
When Quidditch Champions will be available is not yet known.
