Even though they are occasionally disregarded, supporting characters are a crucial aspect of Genshin Impact’s gameplay. These characters aid the squad in a variety of ways, including boosting teammates, enhancing elemental responses, providing crowd control, and serving as a battery. Anemo has become less popular in some team compositions since the Dendro element was introduced because it lacks a Dendro elemental reaction, but using both Anemo and Dendro elements for support is still very advantageous, especially when amplifying an element like Electro.

In Genshin Impact, Anemo support characters like Venti, Kazuha, and Sucrose are still often employed, and players may find it challenging to choose which is ideal for their team. It’s crucial to recognise that Venti and Kazuha each have unique strengths and weaknesses, therefore choosing between them may be based on the particular demands of the fight. Therefore, before choosing which Anemo character is best for their team’s makeup, players need to consider each character’s strengths.
Strengths And Weaknesses- Venti
Venti will definitely continue to be important in Genshin Impact as the Archon of Anemo. The playable Archon characters in the game are usually made to be future-proof investments because they each bring something special to the table that other characters can’t quite match, keeping them always useful regardless of the setup or the entrance of new characters. Venti is still a tough character that players should think about adding to their roster, even if Kazuha has gained greater popularity among players as a result of his increased utility.

· Great Crowd Control · Battery Utility · Considerable Swirl DPS Potential · F2P friendly · Useful for exploration . Easy to build | · Great Crowd Control · Battery Utility · Considerable Swirl DPS Potential · F2P friendly · Useful for exploration . Easy to build |

Venti has a distinct advantage over Kazuha when it comes to crowd control thanks to the potent Elemental Burst he uses. This tactic traps adversaries in a vortex, immobilising them. Venti’s Burst was very effective in the early stages of Genshin Impact, but with the Inazuma area upgrade, more powerful, heavier foes were added, rendering Venti’s Burst useless against them. A further drawback of the Burst is that it makes foes fly, making it impossible for melee team members to hit them, even if it is perfect for defensive games or defending the leyline in Spiral Abyss. Venti, on the other hand, has the ability to do massive damage during the Elemental Burst with his Swirls, which, if built appropriately, may be sufficient to defeat the majority of the foes he pulls.
Venti not only has crowd control skills, but he also has a high battery potential. This is because his passive ability allows him to generate 15 energy for himself and his teammates of the same element as the one his Elemental Burst has absorbed, and his elemental skill generates a respectable number of elemental particles when used. For instance, if Cryo is absorbed by Venti’s Elemental Burst while on the team of Ayaka, Rosaria, and Xingqiu, 15 energy will be produced by both Ayaka and Rosaria in addition to Venti. This enables Venti and his team to consistently use their elemental bursts, keeping them from going on cooldown.
Venti excels in crowd management and energy recovery, but he lacks the ability to provide his comrades with particular benefits. He is able to make effective use of the Viridescent Venerer artefact set, although he has no personal means of amplifying damage. Aside from the fact that he is already effective at C0 and does not need a specific signature weapon, his constellations—with the exception of C6, which reduces Anemo’s and the element ingested during his Elemental Burst’s elemental resistance by 20%—are generally unimpressive. Therefore, investing Primogems in Venti’s constellations might not be a wise choice.
Strengths And Weaknesses- Kazuha
When Kazuha first came out, a lot of players misjudged him and negatively compared him to Venti and Sucrose. But it didn’t take long for players to recognise his true potential as a fantastic support character, which dramatically increased the sales of his recurring banner. Due to the vast range of utility, he brings to the table, Kazuha is still a well-liked choice for difficult content like Spiral Abyss even in the current meta.
Pros & Cons

· Can Pull Heavy Enemies · Elemental Burst Has Big AoE Range · Buffs the Elemental DMG of the Team · F2P friendly · Useful for exploration · Easy to build . Strong early constellations | · Battery potential is limited · Absorbing the right element to his Elemental Burst can be challenging · DPS power is more limited in comparison to Venti · Not as niche as Venti since Sucrose is a direct comparison . Crowd control is not as strong |

Kazuha differs from Venti in that he has a special crowd control skill that allows him to draw larger adversaries towards the group while only partially immobilising them. In some circumstances, this can be helpful because it gathers all adversaries into one area where melee units can easily attack them. His main power, however, is his capacity to increase everyone in the party’s Elemental DMG bonus based on their Elemental Mastery anytime a Swirl reaction takes place. Given that his buff can coexist for many elements at once, he is a great addition to any team composition that prioritises elemental reactions or mono-element teams.
Similar to Venti, Kazuha is rather simple to construct because all that the players need to concentrate on is their Elemental Mastery. He is not a primary DPS unit and can use his cheap Elemental Burst with low Energy Regeneration. His additional perks more than makeup for the fact that he might not be as good of a battery unit as Venti. Kazuha is also very F2P friendly because he is already a great character at C0. Though his C1 and C2 constellations are quite useful, C1 allows him to utilise his elemental skill more frequently, while C2 is one of the greatest constellations in the game, giving all party members 200 Elemental Mastery within the wide AOE of his Elemental Burst.
In conclusion, players on a tight budget don’t need to worry about investing in Kazuha if they already have Sucrose and her constellations, despite the fact that he may be more adaptable and powerful overall, especially now that he has access to his second constellation.
