The numerous Constellation members will be introduced to the player early on in Starfield. In fact, the player will interact with characters they can hire later on in a number of the primary story objectives that are given early on. Sam Coe is a prime illustration of this.

Sam wants assistance as he leads an expedition. He has discovered a probable tip on the location of a different relic close to Akila City. The excursion, of course, quickly changes from routine to anything but. Here is what Starfield players might anticipate when they start the main quest “The Empty Nest”.
Interact with Sam
Sam Coe can be found in the Lodge; speaking with him is the first stage in this quest. To the left of the relics, in a side room, is where you’ll find him. Sam indicates that he may have information about another item in Akila City when the introductions have been completed. Stock up on supplies and, if necessary, sell any extras before you go.

A visit to Akila City
Go to Cheyenne via air or swiftly. Players will be checked for contraband as soon as they enter the system. Launch the scanner and land in Akila City if everything is in order. To advance the mission, get off the ship and talk to Sam. He gives players more information about the Artifact’s potential location there.

You may get to the GalBank Vault by following the blue waypoint after speaking with Sam. Players will be stopped along the road by a security guard who will advise them to try to avoid the GalBank because there is currently a crisis there. The bank is currently being robbed, and the assailant wanting to speak to someone unrelated to the city or the guards has taken hostages.
Deal with the Bank Robbers’ Leader through Negotiation
Approach Daniel, who initially expresses reluctance to speak with a stranger, but his attitude soon changes as Sam offers his endorsement of the athlete. Go around the barricade and head for the bank entrance after you’ve finished speaking with Daniel. The bank robbers’ leader can be reached by going to the terminal to the left of the door.

The leader will give the players the chance to convince them, but if that doesn’t work, they can inquire about their demands. Players will have another chance to convince the leader when they discover what the requests are if they failed to do it the first time. The only remaining alternative if this second attempt fails is to go back to Daniel and explain the circumstance. Players will have no alternative but to enter the bank and deal with the thieves if they are unable to convince them to disperse.
Direct Entry or Covert Entry
Players can either try to enter from the front at this stage or enter covertly through the back. If players enter the building unarmed and speak to the bank robbers’ leader again, he will consent to letting them see the captives. While the leader is still armed, it is still feasible to persuade him to view the hostages, albeit how tough this is will depend on the rank of the persuasion players. Players will have to go around the rear and utilize the key to gain the jump on the bank thieves if this fails.
Players won’t need much time to deal with the bank robbers because there are only six of them in the building. As payment for a job well done, Daniel will grant 3,000 credits. Go back inside the bank after the bank heist has been resolved.
Locate the Map
The three locations identified by the blue waypoint in the basement should be searched. There will be a letter for Sam and an hourglass in one of the lockers. Sam can provide more information about the map thief if you speak with him. Sam is reticent to talk much, but if they can convince him, they can get him to reveal more about Jacob.

Regardless of the decision, leave the bank and proceed to the Coe Estate by following the waypoint. Enter the room to hear Sam and his father, Jacob, argue in-person. Talk to Sam first, then to Jacob after that.
Players can obtain the map from Jacob in one of three ways. To start, enlist Cora’s assistance. The alternative is to have Sam divert Jacob’s attention while he looks for the map. The third choice is to speak with Jacob and make an effort to convince him. Sam would rather keep his daughter out of it, but if none of the other solutions work, he’ll give it a shot.
Jacob will offer players the key to the door that opens to the map if they are able to convince him. Jacob’s back to the door, so open it and take the map out. To advance the story, speak with Sam.
Visiting the Empty Nest
Naturally, as Sam studies the map, a new issue arises. The artifact is located in the heart of the region controlled by the gang that committed the bank robbery. The gang would not be pleased with players’ presence if they had to kill the bank thieves.

When prepared, quickly teleport to the Empty Nest. There is a sizable gathering of adversaries in this region, so be prepared to engage in combat. Once they are all gone, search for a cave entrance via a door. Make sure you are healed up before entering the cave because there are more foes there.
There is a locked door with an advanced lock halfway through the cave. Since it is just a gate, if players are unable to open it, they can easily climb the boxes and cross the door. Make sure to bring the cutter because there are other locations beyond this gate where players can mine resources. Till you reach a dead end where the relic is, keep descending the cave. Leave the Empty Nest after grabbing the object.
Interact with Sam

One more challenge awaits the Starfield players as they leave the hideout. The loss of several members and the hideout has upset the gang’s commander, Shaw. Players have three options: attempt to convince her, fight her, or give her 4,000 credits. A pack of Ashta will approach irrespective of the players’ decision. Players have the choice to either kill them or run away. Return to the Lodge and reunite the item with the others to finish this major quest after that.
