The upcoming Assassin’s Creed Red as known as Assassin’s Creed Japan is already a much-expected game by many fans of Assassin’s games. In 2022 it was revealed that Assassin’s Creed is going to take place in Japan, but that is generally what we have known about all this until now. Gamers are getting more and more excited about the new AC game of the recently revealed game details and leaks. An insider has now revealed that there will be two playable characters in the new Assassin’s Creed Red Game, which AC fans are going to love.

With a very brief teaser video, Ubisoft announced officially AC Codename Red in the latter part of last year. Though additional information is still lacking, the upcoming experience will finally let Assassin’s Creed explore ancient Japan.
However, the expected game continues to make headlines due to rumours and leaks. For instance, Insider Gaming recently reported that Codename Red would debut with two playable characters.
AC Code-Red: Reveals Two Character
Codename Red is not the only Assassin’s Creed, that we can look forward to. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released this year also. It makes it understandable that Ubisoft hasn’t shown a lot about Codename Red so far given that the release isn’t all that far away. They certainly don’t want the next one to reduce the attention given to it before it is published.
Fortunately, there is usually a small gap in the team through which details sometimes leak out. This time Insider Gaming has announced that the next Assassin’s Creed Red will feature two playable characters.

The most recent information about the game came from Insider Gaming, the same source that previously leaked information about it and said that there would be two playable characters. The characters will apparently include the female samurai from the game’s original teaser as well as a shinobi who is claimed to be an African refugee who adopted the assassins’ creed. This information expands on the character information that was previously leaked.
It’s not revealed by the insider whether there is a choice to switch between two characters or not, although two characters are gender-locked, or if they are both playable characters like Jacob and Evie from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. It’s possible that there is an option, similar to Alexios and Kassandra in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
The combination of Shinobi and a samurai is interesting if these character rumours are true. Samurais were typically warriors from the noble classes, whereas ninjas frequently came from the lower classes. This makes complete sense, then, why the shinobi would be a refugee in Japan? This could suggest that the Samurai is associated with the Templar Order or Order of the Ancients, branding a Hidden Blade, while the shinobi is aligned with the Brotherhood.
