The next year of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet content has been revealed which has integrated with Pokemon GO, and Pokemon Home along with it comes with new legendary paradox pokemon as Tera Raid Battles. Fans are eagerly waiting to see this continual update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as they will slowly polish the game and make it to a more acceptable state. Pokemon trainers can also look forward to a two-part DLC expansion which is known by “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” late in 2023, along with The Teal Mask due out in fall and The Indigo Disk in winter. According to some rumors and links, these are sure going to be the next exciting updates and additions.

While the DLC’s first trailer was not as expected, but the accompanying key artwork only gave a glimpse of a few new characters and pokemon. Rather than a few old pokemon who are returning in scarlet and Violet’s DLC, no one either knows or guess what these DLC episodes will actually contain. While a trusted leaker has stated than one or both of these expansion parts will iterate upon. Though leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, but it looks like the ever-popular Generation 1 started Charizard may receive another iteration if the unique Tera Forms comes to be.
History of Charizard Getting Form Gimmicks In Pokemon

The use of form-changing battle mechanics of pokemon officially introduced and began in Pokemon X and Y. After Mega Evolution took the world by storm, Mega Evolution provides certain fully evolved pokemon which comes up with temporary evolutions limited by Mega Stones that corresponds to a certain species. Only Charizard and Mewtwo were the only pair from the pokemon with Mega Evolutions in Generation 6, who possess two evolutions each.
Though there’s a potential left in Mega Evolution, Z-Moves took priority in Pokemon Sun and Moon. After then in pokemon sword and shield in favor of Dynamazing both gimmicks were abandoned. The gimmicks are combined aspects of Mega Evolution and Z-Moves along with a strict three-turn limit. Of these mechanics, some old nostalgic popular pokemon continued to get unique versions, while the Generation 8 introduced a brand new limited set of Giganatamax pokemon, which is similar to that of Dynamax but comes up with monsters assuming brand-new forms reminiscent of Mega Evolutions. Once again Charizard was once again present among this group, and is more notable all thanks to being Champion Leon’s ace pokemon.
Tera Forms Would Fit Charizard’s Special Treatment

If the rumor regarding special Tera Forms being added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet founds out true, the cycle could repeat again all over again. Terastallization distinguished itself all by yourself by being a mechanic pokemon can use, just in a different way depending upon what upon an individual’s Tera Type is. On the other hand, Tera Forms have the potential to act like Mega Evolutions or Gigantamax forms again, just with a different rules. While there are certain other Pokemon lines which could receive much-needed buffs, it’s more or less like an exclusive group of popular Pokemon will once again stop the mechanic.
Among the other characters, Charizard has a strong chance of doing this thanks to it’s upcoming anime role. It seems like that the new pokemon professor Friede will ride a Charizard mountain, all by judging by promotional materials. In a prominent Tera Raid battle event the Fire/Flying-type pokemon has already been featured, so Scarlet and Violet could see an another Charizard which comes up with a special form as a raid boss in the future. If Tera Forms turn out to be real, hopefully there will also be a diverse roster of pokemon which can be used in addition to the likely candidate Charizard.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published officially by Nintendo. The game is available now on Nintendo Switch.
