Reddit is already buzzing with rumours about Disney Domination, a brand-new video game that will allegedly release in 2024 and is a true “Smash Bros Killer”—likely a fighting game in the vein of Warner Bros.’ MultiVersus.

The name should be Disney Domination, and the project would be in development at least since spring 2018 with a budget comparable to that of a AAA video game. A new leak image is making the rounds on forums and social media, and it appears to be from the story mode of the “new Super Smash Bros-style Disney video game.”
Main Roasters of the Game
Thanos, Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse, and other Disney characters are among the fighters in what appears to be a new platform fighting game in the Smash Bros style.
There have been a few efforts to unseat Nintendo’s platform fighter since the DLC for Smash Ultimate concluded with Sora from Kingdom Hearts.

Both Warner Bros.’ MultiVersus and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl attempted to capture the monarch, but tragically failed. After the developers ridiculed Smash, Nick notoriously had no viewers on Twitch, whereas MultiVersus only has 1,000 Steam users.
In the guise of Disney Domination, a platform combatant that has been rumoured to feature characters from all of Disney’s properties, a new rival has now emerged.
Leaks of a Disney-made version of Smash Ultimate
Before being removed, images and a game description appeared in a Reddit post. However, Smash Melee pro Hungrybox recorded the thread in a YouTube video.
The pictures show a variety of characters, including Thanos, Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse, a bad Buzz Lightyear, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They look to be from some sort of story mode.
But that’s not all. Woody and Stewie Gryphon are also mentioned in the subtitles with character names. Additionally, there appears to be a smash-like icon above one of the images of Donald, implying that he is a CPU.
According to Hungrybox, the deleted Reddit thread had information about the game’s release date—June 2024—as well as a list of the fighters that have been “confirmed.”
Latest Leaks
Images of what is allegedly Disney’s unreleased Smash-like game have been posted by a leaker. “Disney Domination” is reportedly the name. The photographs are intriguing regardless of the official sources’ responses, which we are still awaiting.
According a Reddit Post a new Leaked Images from the story mode of a Disney Smash Bros. Style game just leaked. I will give a brief rundown on what this 2024 game is supposed to be:
There have been rumors and leaks of a Disney Platform fighter by the name Disney Domination
Supposedly the game has been in development since May of 2018 with a triple A budget. The game is also rumored to have a massive single player campaign that acts as a traditional 2D platformer as well as featuring 55 characters and 60 stages at launch. It will also have so many online modes and features like voice chat battles, 12 player online battles, Disney Dominion, Mission mode, and so much more. The game will also have something called “The Lounge” where players can go to chat, post artwork, custom alternative skins, custom stages, and even custom music. The game will have 70 items as well for casual play.
According to the rumors the game will look, next gen and the art style will look like something out of Unreal Engine 5 unlike the typical cartoony look we’re used to seeing with platform fighters. The game is supposed to be edgy as well, with characters like Mickey Mouse and I quote “going full blown anime”.
The game is supposed to be developed by Square Enix as well.
New Features of the Game
More than 60 characters from popular television shows will appear in the game, including Toy Story, The Incredibles, Mickey Mouse, The Avengers, Coco, Family Guy, Monster’s Inc., Aladin, Star Wars, and Frozen. The game is primarily geared towards attracting a sizable casual audience, and based on what I have seen and heard, it will undoubtedly succeed in doing so.In the game’s extensive single-player campaign, all combatants band together to defeat an unidentified army. Through this campaign, all 60+ characters are unlocked.
At debut, the single-player campaign will be a 2D platformer with 55 characters and 60 levels, but multiplayer will be the game’s strong suit with support for twelve-player online combat and various modes made for more people. The “Lounge” area, which is envisioned as a type of hub where gamers may communicate, post images, alternate skins, custom levels, and other content, will also be included.
Final Thoughts
Mulan, Aladdin, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Thor, Black Panther, Gamora, Starlord, and a number of other characters were mentioned by the Melee pro.
Surprisingly, Homer Simpson isn’t mentioned in the leaks, but with Disney’s acquisition of Fox, there are undoubtedly plenty of other potential opponents and settings.

Instead of the cartoon style that characterises these works, the source refers to a next-gen graphic style “similar to what we are used to seeing with the Unreal Engine 5”. Finally, Square Enix appears to be involved in the game’s development, though this has not been confirmed.
As we said up top, we don’t know of any other sources that corroborate this claim, and Disney has not made an official statement on the matter yet. It could all be nothing, but it really wouldn’t be that crazy if Disney were planning something like this.Take everything in this article with a grain of salt and a dash of pepper because it could all be complex hoaxes, but if we’re lucky, we might be working on a real Smash rival.
This game is scheduled to launch on the Xbox Series, PS5, PS4, PC, and a future, unnamed Nintendo System. Keep checking back, and thanks!
