Niantic has announced that they would soon grant a second chance to gamers who were unable to check in during the recent Squirtle Community Day. Since its first release in 2016, Pokemon GO has become a global phenomenon because of developer Niantic’s consistent release of fresh content. Additionally, both little and significant activities, such as the monthly Community Day festivities, are now happening on a regular basis.

Community Days are unique occasions where a single Pokemon makes an increased number of appearances for a brief time. Players are always excited to see a certain Pokemon featured during a Community Day, especially if they haven’t found it yet or need more Candy to evolve it. Additionally, Community Days frequently offer added advantages like a higher possibility of Shiny Pokemon appearing or the ability to unlock special attacks when evolving the featured pocket monster. Unfortunately, many players were unable to take part in the most recent Pokemon Go Squirtle Community Day.
Logging Issues Solved after the Update
Niantic noted in a July 18 announcement that several Pokemon Trainers Club users encountered login problems that stopped them from fully enjoying the Squirtle Community Day event. As a result, on July 23, the developer will organize a makeup event that will allow gamers another chance to catch as many Squirtles as they can. The features, bonuses, and research prizes that participants could take advantage of during the initial event seem to be available again in full during this event.

Fortunately, a small number of people were affected by the login problems, but the company will still allow everyone to participate in the makeup event. Players who were fortunate enough to participate the first time will receive a unique bonus, while players who missed the first event will have the opportunity to make up for it. Regardless of which group they fit into, many gamers will undoubtedly want to get ready for this second Squirtle Community Day.
Players have had login problems in the past as well. A Pokemon Trainer Club outage impacted gamers of Pokemon Go in 2018, and it appears that these problems can still occur occasionally. However, it appears that Niantic is devoted to making things right for players when these issues arise, as evidenced by the company’s swift resolution of the situation and provision of a makeup event.
Final Thoughts
Squirtle may not be the strongest Pokemon in the game, but it has been a favourite since the start. Its own following celebrated Ed Sheeran’s participation in a Pokemon Go event that brought back the Squirtle Squad. The next event is one that fans won’t want to miss, most certainly.
Both iOS and Android users can download Pokemon GO.
